Decided to blog about my visit to the i-city (aka City of Digital Lights), Shah Alam after viewing all the photos that left unposted in the album. I think me, Jiayi and Bih went to i-City, Shah Alam very spontaneously due to many classes were cancelled and we were very very free and have nothing to do except eat and sleep and watch Korean drama in the hostel lol.
We went there by the public transport, and trust me the travel journey back and froth was the most boring and tiring one, and it took us nearly 3 hours to reach there because we changed our long pants to short pants at KL Sentral there wtf. Don't ask me why, it was because of the strict and stupid rule of our hostel, if we want to go out we need to wear long pants, you can't cheat coz you will pass by the guard house if you wanna go out wth. And it's the one and the only entrance and exit for our hostel.
Let me summed up the route we took to our destination. Below are the journey we took from Titiwangsa monorail station to i-City, Shah Alam.
1. Taxi ---> Titiwangsa monorail station
2. Titiwangsa monorail station ---> KL Sentral (the last station) This is where we changed our long pants to short pants and the toilet was in long queue it took us nearly 45 mins to get ready to the next route lol!3. KL Sentral ---> KTM komuter to Shah Alam / Padang Jawa station (Sentul - Pelabuhan Klang route) This is the most boring and tiring route!
4. Taxi ---> i-City (around 5-10 minutes to reach there)
So, i think you guys can figure out why we took nearly 3 hours++ to reach there lol!
We visited the 3D Trick Art Museum, Snowalk and enjoy the night view of City of Digital Lights at there. For 3D Trick Art Museum, the ticket was priced at only 5 MYR and for the City of Digital Lights the admission was free! And for Snowalk, the ticket was priced at 25 MYR per adult before 6pm, 35 MYR after 6pm! This post will be featuring only the 3D Trick Art Museum since my phone was in low battery warning after we finished visited the museum, the only main reason was we can't help but took so much pictures at there haha :P

hi, Sharon.
ReplyDeleteThe snowalk entrance fee included "3D TRICK ART MUSEUM " or not?
Got any restaurant there?
Dear Lena Liew,
DeleteThe snowalk entrance fee does not include the 3D trick art museum ticket fee. You can buy the 3D trick art museum ticket only at RM 5 per entrance. For restaurants, there are KFC, Kenny Rogers Roasters, Oldtown White Coffee and a Malay restaurant Al-Rawsha there. They even have 7-11 and KK-mart there too! Hope you enjoy your trip at there! Have a nice day :)

Hi! The 3D art museum looks very fun! do you know at what time the 3D museum open?
ReplyDeleteHi Anonymous,
DeleteThe operating hours of the 3D art museum is not stated clearly in the website itself and also in the brochure, but i think it should be the same with the operating hours of the Snowalk. Have fun at there! Cheers :)

ReplyDeleteDear Lafee De Lufee,
DeleteThanks for sharing your thoughts with me here! I missed my visit to i-City too! I still remember it was raining heavily when we wanna going back, so it's hard to stop a cab inside the i-City. By the way, we managed to stop a cab after we walked to the main road outside and went to the nearest KTM station (Padang Jawa / Shah Alam station), but the taxi driver charged us extra!
There are new attractions happening at i-City now, one of those is Red Carpet Wax Museum! You should go and have a look! Hope you enjoy your second visit there!
Regards,
Sharon.
Hi Sharon,
ReplyDeleteNice sharing for this blog..
May I know, how much the tax fare from shah alam station to i city? Is it any another transportation to reached i city from shah alam station?
Regards,
Vina
Hi Vina,
DeleteI have to say sorry that I don't really remember the taxi fare from Shah Alam station to i-City, but I think it won't exceed RM10 as the distance between two places is quite near actually. Have a few friends to share the taxi together and it might help you save a lot. Enjoy your trip there!
Regards,
Sharon.
